MMDiving Resort

A Czech diving centre on Nusa Penida Island near Bali has prepared for you amazing diving with ocean sunfish, mantas, stingrays or sharks. You can find here the best preserved coral reef in the surroundings of Bali and undoubtedly the best diving in the whole area. Among other activities, you can try interesting motorcycle trips to see the beauties of the island, or wonderful hiking excursions either to remote corners of nature or to see Hindu cultural monuments. Project "GREEN LIFE"

MMDiving has bought 7 ha of a tropical rainforest on the border with Lueser NP in order to protect it from deforestation and from setting a rubber tree plantation here. We established for this private reservation a group of 4 guards as it lies on the border with Leuser NP, and thus is not sufficiently under the control of national park guards. Several hours walking far from civilization, we are building a rainforest station in a jungle. It will serve for cultural, educational and scientific purposes. To build several tree shanties, we will use a material brought, not chopped down in the area. Moreover, we will build in this area several observational platforms in trees. There are several groups of gibbons gathering in this area, hornbills, sun bears, deers and even orangutans from time to time occur here. The money got from ecotouristic programmes will be used to pay the guards and to broaden the project further (to extend the rented protected area, including increasing the number of guards needed).  The project is called "GREEN LIFE".

The Expeditionary Ship SEA LADY

Set out with us for fascinating expeditionary-diving cruises on a fully-equipped beautiful wooden ship. We have prepared for you fantastic programmes on the Komodo Islands and the Alor Islands, where you can dive together with tunas, stingrays, jacks and sharks or snorkel among sperm whales, long-finned pilot whales and dolphins. Discover with us new areas for diving and flow on the waves of adventure to unknown archipelagos near Sulawesi, passing Maluku Islands right to mysterious paradisiacal islands of Enpat Raja near West Papua.

The KURA KURA project

As of June 2009, you have the opportunity to visit a turtle rescue centre and an educational centre of the Kura Kura Project under the auspices of UCSZ, i.e., The Union of Czech and Slovak Zoological Gardens. The main partner of this project is ZOO Brno, which in 2006 advertised an international public collection designed for realizing the project. The aim of the project is to create a turtle rescue centre for turtles confiscated on a black market in Bali and to set them free again to the sea at Nusa Penida. Another aim is the educational programme for children of school age, who will thus be acquainted with principles of coexistence and harmony between man and sea. The Kura Kura Project is also concerned with waste management of the island.
